Lunette Castillo is proud to live and serve in Bermuda, bringing more than 20 years of healthcare experience caring for patients across the United States and Bermuda. Her career spans primary care, psychiatric and behavioral health support, urgent care, critical care, long-term care, telehealth, healthcare leadership, executive operations, and population-focused program development. She is known for combining deep clinical experience with a calm, approachable style that makes complex care feel accessible, trustworthy, and safe.

Lunette is American ANCC board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), reflecting advanced expertise in both medical and mental health care across the lifespan. She also holds critical care certification (CCRN), further strengthening her depth of clinical training in high-acuity care. Her practice is built on the belief that the best outcomes come from treating the whole person — connecting mental health, physical health, prevention, and long-term wellness rather than addressing problems in isolation.

Doctor of Nursing Practice — Leadership to Enhance Population Health Outcomes

This combination of schools and advanced programs has shaped a career grounded in clinical excellence, healthcare leadership, and research-informed practice.

Lunette's DNP work focused on population health outcomes, including development of a diabetes self-management program for primary care settings in Bermuda. She has led initiatives that reduced hospital readmissions, strengthened chronic disease prevention, expanded telehealth access, advanced nurse practitioner prescribing authority in the community, and improved care for vulnerable populations in both the US and Bermuda. She founded TeleCare Bermuda to deliver integrated, telehealth-enabled care that supports mental wellness, chronic disease management, personalized medical support, and more accessible care pathways in real-world settings.

Beyond direct patient care, Lunette brings the perspective of a healthcare executive and healthcare leader. She has led clinical operations, care delivery strategy, quality improvement initiatives, team development, and program implementation across community, long-term care, and telehealth environments. Her leadership experience strengthens her ability to build practical systems of care, support multidisciplinary teams, and partner with organizations seeking both clinical excellence and strategic execution.

Her brand of care is guided by American evidence-based guidelines and research-based interventions. She draws on integrated care and collaborative models that show better coordination, improved patient experience, and stronger outcomes when mental and physical health are addressed together. She also incorporates evidence from telepsychiatry and telehealth research demonstrating high patient satisfaction, better access, and strong continuity of care when services are delivered remotely with careful clinical oversight. This evidence-based, outcomes-focused approach shapes every part of her work — from individual patient care to program design, health partnerships, and community impact.

Beyond direct patient care, Lunette is a collaborative partner for organizations. She works in corporate wellness, clinical partnerships, and public health consulting — helping employers build healthier, more resilient workforces; supporting health systems and community organizations in designing practical, outcomes-focused programs; and advising on policies and strategies that expand access while preserving quality and safety. Whether working with individual patients or larger systems, her goal is consistent: trusted, research-informed care that improves outcomes and strengthens the health of the community.
